Homemade Baby Shower Favors
Homemade baby shower favors are great to cut down on costs and lend a personalized touch to the gifts. Here you have plenty of options. You can make the favors from scratch, all by yourself, or get a do it yourself kit.
No party is complete without goodies to eat and so you can begin with preparing the cookies by yourself. You will need cookie cutters for this and you could do well to get some of various shapes and sizes. Those shaped like ducklings and teddy bears are quite common and it is good to keep the trend.
If you are more imaginative and with an artistic bent of mind you can make your own designs and get the cutters made to order. If the baby shower is held after the baby is born and it is a girl, make all the cookies of pink color, as pink is associated with girls.
You could also make soaps with your baby’s name marked on it. You will need a mould, material for the soap, wrappers(all available in the market). You could make it personalized and add a thank-you note on it.
Bootie cups filled with chocolates, candies or other favors are also great. These can be made with Thermocol/Styrofoam cups all nicely done up with ribbons and lace. Likewise, the centerpiece and decorations can also be made at home.
