HGH Oral Spray

Various hormones are present in our produced by the endocrine glands. These glands secrete these hormones directly into blood stream instead of into a duct. One of these hormones is human growth hormone which is produced by pituitary gland. HGH is the short name of this hormone. This hormone helps the growth of a child and maintains the metabolism in adults.

HGH therapy was mainly developed to help those children who show poor growth because of production of this hormone is below normal in their body. By this therapy, level of this hormone is increased in their body and these children showed remarkable improvement in their growth.

Another user of this therapy is athletes and players. They use this therapy to build their muscles and improve their stamina.

It has been found that the level of this hormone is highest among adolescents and starts reducing from 30 years of age. The lowering level of this hormone is considered one of the factors in the onset of ageing process. It has been found by raising the level of HGH in human body, the adverse effects of ageing process can be reduced and even neutralized.

Therefore, HGH therapy is quite prevalent as an anti ageing treatment. But, the therapy to become effective, it must be taken under proper medical supervision. Otherwise, it may lead to quite disastrous results.

There are different methods of administering HGH therapy. The most common method is to inject the hormone in the body to increase its level in the body. Another method uses pills containing various herbal products which help the body to produce the hormone up to normal level. Yet another method is to use the liquid form of the hormone as a spray.

Generally, these sprays are applied orally. There are many sites in the internet, which are pushing this method of application as the best method of HGH therapy. They claim that the absorption of the hormone is faster as it is directly absorbed through the lining of the mouth rather than getting broken down in stomach and liver before absorption by the body in the case of using tablets.

Moreover, the injections are quite costly and very painful to take. They also claim that there is no side effect when these sprays are used. Another advantage is they do not require any prescription. These sprays seem to be quite popular as anti ageing treatment.

In support of their claim, one of these sites referred to a study made by Dr. Robert Lawrence and Dr. Babak Parisaa of The Bushard Medical Group, Los Angeles, California on 200 healthy patients of ages ranging between 35 and 80 who were administered plant based oral spray containing 2000ng/ml HGH, below the tongue.

This study was continued for six months, when the persons who got this drug showed significant improvement in HGH secretion in the body, increase of HDL level, reduction in LDL and triglyceride level compared to those who received placebos showing no significant changes in them.

But, in a release dated 18th October, 2005 Federal Trade Commission (FTC) informs that Federal Court has issued a temporary injunction on those who are marketing these oral sprays on the basis of its complaint.

FTC stated in the complaint that application of these oral sprays does not produce weight loss as well as arrest or neutralizes the ageing process and these claims were falsely.

FTC also complained that these sprays did not contain any HGH or any substance which causes the body to produce the hormone. According to the complaint, the safety of using these products was not presented correctly. FTC also informed that they were seeking permanent ban on these claims and return of money of the consumers.

Therefore, before using these oral sprays for HGH therapy all these factors are to be considered very carefully.
