Rogaine is a liquid medicine which is the brand name for Minoxidil used as a drug to treat the male baldness. This is applied to the scalp to prevent from hair loss and the growth of the hair can be stimulated.
How to use Rogaine
- Rogaine should be used only when it is prescribed by the doctor.
- Before applying Rogaine, hair and scalp should be dried.
- It should be applied to the affected areas of the scalp in a prescribed amount i.e. one ml and it should be used twice.
- It should only be used on the scalp rather on the other parts of the body.
- It should not be used if the skin on the scalp is irritated, sunburned and damaged.
- After applying Rogaine, hands should be washed.

- This should be stored at room temperature away from heat and moisture.
Overdose of Rogaine should not be taken and if it should be applied then immediately seek the medical advice. The symptoms of Rogaine overdose include headache, low blood pressure, redness of the skin etc. During the treatment with Rogaine, other topical products should not be used on the scalp. If the dose of Rogaine is missed by the person then one should take immediately before the next dose.

- After using Rogaine, one should not stop the use of it as stopping it after a certain period, the hair which has been grown will fall.
- Rogaine should be applied daily to stimulate the growth of hairs. One cc or one ml medicine dropper should be bought and then fill it and dropper to the scalp should be touched in that area where one wants to grow the hair.

Side Effects of Rogaine
- Very little medicine is absorbed into the blood stream when Rogaine is applied to the scalp.
- After applying Rogaine to the scalp permanent hair are developed on the forehead due to the small amounts of medicine applied on the scalp.
