History of Henna

There are various inconsistent stories about history of henna. However, henna like a plant has been seen for centuries in different hot climates. It has been used in both traditional Muslim and Hindi countries.

Henna has large numbers of names such as Lawsonia Inermis, Hinna or Mehndi. Other names of Henna include Mehandi, Al-khanna, Jamaica Mignonette, henna, Al-henna, Smooth Lawsonia and Egyptian Privet.
Henna is a little plant with tiny, scented and dark green leaves. Henna leaves are dried and crushed down into a fine powder, which is finely filtered two, or more times by using a fine nylon cloth.
