Home-Made Complexion Lotion
Lime complexion lotion:
Ingredients:
- Take twenty five grams of lime water.
- Two fifty ml of distilled water.
- One fourth of a teaspoon of sodium benzoate.
Put lime flowers in the boiling water for an hour. Strain and let the mixture cool.
Add sodium benzoate to it. The complexion lotion is now ready.
Add equal part of rose water to it. Keep it in a refrigerator and use with the help of cotton buds.
Almond complexion lotion:
Ingredients:
- One tablespoon of almond oil.
- Two teaspoons of glycerine.
- One teaspoon of extract of cornflower.
- One teaspoon of cucumber or carrot juice.
- One teaspoon of liquid paraffin.
Heat the almond oil and paraffin together and add all the other ingredients to it. Shake it well, apply it and let it remain till it dries. Wash with lukewarm water and then rinse off with cold water. It keeps the skin fairer and smoother.
Witch hazel complexion lotion:
Ingredients:
- Half cup of witch hazel extract.
- Five hundred ml of distilled water.
- One cup of alcohol.
- Fifteen grams of borax powder.
Dissolve the borax powder in water over a low flame. Let it cool, and then stir with rest of the ingredients. Pour the mixture into an airtight bottle and refrigerate it.
Lavender complexion lotion:
Ingredients:
- Half cup of lavender extract.
- One cup of rose water.
- Take two tablespoons of olive oil.
- One teaspoon of borax powder.
Mix borax powder in rose water and add boiling oil to the mixture. Keep stirring, and add lavender extract when it becomes cool. It can be stored under refrigeration for more than 2 months
