Boils

Infections of skin by bacteria cause boils. They are inflamed, localized, pus-filled swelling in the skin by large red area.
These are very painful. These are skin eruptions and causes fever. Sugar is the main symptom of boils so sugar should be checked time to time.
Causes of boils:
They are caused by a staphylococcus aurous, a bacteria that causes an infection in an oil gland or hair follicle. There are several factors that predispose the growth of bacteria.
The main factor is the toxic condition in the blood stream which is due to faulty diet. They also spread by sharing cosmetics, a close human contact or by contact with pus from a boil.
Symptoms:
- A painful red portion appears on the skin. This grows bigger and breaks down in the middle where the pus collects.
- A little fever can be observed.
- A great deal of aching and irritation is experienced.
- Red streaks spreading from the boils appear.
- You are having diabetes.
Methods of treating boils:

Cut little silvers of potato and onion. Apply it on the affected area and cover it. Change this four times a day. It also helps in relieving pain.

The margosa leaves are very helpful in treating boils. Take about fifteen grams of margosa leaves, boil them in 500 ml of water till it reduces to 1/3 of the original and then apply on the affected area.

Make a paste by taking one tablespoon of milk cream, half tablespoon vinegar and a pinch of turmeric powder. Apply this paste, it will help in ripening the blood boils and their healing.

The juice of garlic and onion can be applied externally on boils to help ripen them, break them and evacuate the pus. This is the most effective home remedy

Peel a banana and place it on your boil and leave it whole night there. In the morning boil will have drained on its own.

Wet the clothes in either warm water or cold water and use it like a bandage to tie it over the boil. Keep the bandage wet constantly. The boil will burst open in about 4 days and that will relieve the person from pain.

Cook one-fourth teaspoon turmeric powder and one tablespoon of rice flour in two teaspoon of gingelly oil. Place the product in gauze and lay it on the boil in a bearable heat. Tie a bandage over it. Do this till the boil bursts up and opens

Mix a little bit of baking soda and water. Put this mixture on your boil. Keep it for 30 minutes and then see that boil will vanish.

Take a betel leaf, wash it till it gets soft. Put a layer of castor oil on that leaf. Spread this oily leaf over the inflamed part. Replace it after every few hours

Take the seeds of cumin, ground then in water and make a paste. Apply this paste to boils.
