Blemishes

Blemishes are minor imperfections. A mark spoils the appearance of something like on a person’s body. It is caused by blocked pores, pimples and scarring. Scar, stain or mole on someone’s face are blemishes.

How to get rid of blemishes?

Clean:

You should wash your face with fragrance-free cleanser. If your skin is greasy then use cleanser that contains benzoil peroxide. You never use scrub because it can cause breakouts.

Treat:

You should apply an oil-free sunscreen lotion your face in the morning. You should use an oil-free moisturizer and drying spot-treatment product before going to the bed.

Conceal:

You should use a fingertip to wipe away excess concealer around the blemish. You should use a small makeup brush to concealer. If the makeup becomes cakey, wipe it off and again start.

Tips for treatment of blemishes:

• Take carrot juice and applied on the blemished area. Leave for about 15 minutes. Wash well after dry.

• Apply waterlemon juice on your face and left on for 15 minutes. Wash off your face with lukewarm water.

• Rub some coconut oil on blemishes area before going to the bed. Wash well in the morning will definitely help.

• Tender coconut water dabbed on blemishes area, left for half an hour.

The following are different ways of removing blemishes:

  • Cryotherapy
  • Laser
  • Electrofulguration
  • Medical strength chemical peel.

FIGHTING BLEMISHES:

  • CLEANSING THE FACE: You should use water-soluble cleanser for removing the blemishes. Use soaps or bar cleansers that contains pore-clogging ingredients. You should use a clean washcloth for removing waterproof or stubborn makeup.
  • EXFOLIATING: BHA means beta hydroxy acid, this is the best acid to remove oil from the inside of pore. You should use 1% to 2% BHA product to exfoliate the skin. Mechanical exfoliant can be helpful to remove the blemishes. When using a mechanical scrub never to over-scrub, it can disrupt the skin’s ability to heal.
  • ABSORBING EXCESS OIL: You should avoid those products that contain oils. Oil production is triggered by hormones. It can’t possible to stop from making more oils. You should use clay mask to absorb oil. Liquid magnesium hydroxide is a good for absorbing oil.
  • TOPICAL DISINFECTING: Benzoyl peroxide is the most effective to fight blemishes. Alcohol and sulfur are also good for disinfectants the skin. They are also irritating and drying, it can hurt the skin’s ability to heal and skin worse. Tea tree oil is also an effective disinfectant. Using an antibacterial and an exfolitant is a good combination to fight against blemishes.
