Getting rid of unwanted hair all over the body. Full body waxing includes hair removal from legs, arms, face, stomach, back and pubic area.
Wax most commonly used for full body waxing is Brazilian pot wax which removes coarse hair as well as is gentle for sensitive areas.
Waxing has been prevalent in Arab, Persian, Turkish women. In many cultures body hair on women is socially unacceptable. Waxing is being practiced from years for reasons of religion and personal hygiene.
Earlier home made recipe of wax using sugar and lemon was used and now cold and hot wax or also known as hard and soft wax are available in market.
Methods
Shaving:
Shaving is inexpensive and easy to do it yourself but may result in bumps, cuts and burns. It also results in hard and dark skin.Plucking:
Plucking is time consuming as well as painful method.Depilatories:
Depilatories work quickly and are inexpensive but can be messy and lead to allergies.Electrolysis:

Body waxing is done in small areas at a time keeping in mind the part to be waxed wax is heated accordingly. Skin is cleaned with soap and water.
A thick layer of wax is applied and spread evenly with strip. Strip is pulled out tightly while holding skin firmly. After the completion of waxing, part is cleaned of any wax left over and a little massage of soothing oil is given.
Precautions and post care
Those with scars, diabetes or sunburn problems should not go for full body waxing. To avoid post redness an antacid tablet can be taken 1- 2 hour before treatment.
After waxing direct sun exposure, hot baths or heat treatments should be avoided. People using glycolic acid, retin A or tetracycline should avoid waxing.
